Casa Mourisca is located on a quiet street in the centre of Silves, behind a striking azure-blue door. This townhouse combines authentic charm with luxury, offering a unique experience in the heart of the historic town. Silves itself features picturesque cobbled streets and squares, a castle, a market hall, and cozy restaurants. The sun-drenched beaches and green hills of the Algarve are just a 20-minute drive away.

The townhouse was renovated by the owners, Miquel and Sara, in collaboration with Studio Arte architects.
The interior reflects Portugal’s Moorish history and is designed in a riad style. Great attention has been given to the details, with handmade Portuguese and Arabic tiles and vintage furniture. The house provides modern comfort with comfortable hotel-quality beds, stylishly finished bathrooms, a Marshall sound system, and a luxury kitchen with wine fridge and gas BBQ.

The heart of Casa Mourisca is the courtyard, which consists of four distinct patios, surrounded by tropical plants and beautifully illuminated in the evening. The cobalt-green swimming pool offers a refreshing retreat, and the long wooden dining table for up to ten people, complete with pergola and outdoor kitchen, provides a pleasant space to relax and dine. The villa is equipped with air conditioning, ensuring a comfortable stay throughout the year.

Just back from a wonderful holiday in Silves. Casa Mourisca is a beautiful, spacious vacation home in the heart of Silves. We were pleasantly surprised by what appeared behind the blue front door. It was wonderfully spacious for the 6 of us (3 couples). We really enjoyed relaxing on the terraces in both the sun and shade. The pool provided a perfect way to cool off. The contact with the owner was great. Highly recommended for a group of friends!

Behind the blue front door lies a beautifully designed and tastefully decorated house. Very spacious, both inside and outside. A very nice outdoor kitchen with BBQ and large dining table. The plunge pool provided wonderful cooling during our stay. There was really nothing missing from the house. Everything is very well maintained. Very nice and cozy that it is located in the middle of Silves. In the evening you walk out the front door and within a few minutes you are in the cozy center where there are nice restaurants, terraces and shops. The contact in advance with Tom from Potugal Villas was very nice, as was the contact in Portugal with the owner of the house, Miguel. Casa Mourisca is highly recommended!!

It was a joy again

Recommended in the pleasant town of Silves!

Beautiful house and very nicely decorated. Everything is very complete and including a nice welcome with tapas and wine. Outside barbecue and dining table super cozy to eat with a large group. Recommended in the pleasant town of Silves!

Renewal and relaxation

Our first experience with Portugalvillas was especially innovative because we normally stay in hotels during the holidays. Because of the architecture and surroundings of the villa we really imagined ourselves in the idyllic Portuguese life. Everything we needed was available in the villa, which made our stay very comfortable. We went to the beach, the harbor and took a city walk in Silves. We have been in contact with Tom who helped us a lot. Nice that there are such short lines!

Rental conditions

Rental Conditions
The rental price includes the use of water, air conditioning, WiFi, electricity, final cleaning (unless agreed otherwise) and maintenance of the pool and garden.
The rental price is calculated based on the indicated number of people. If visitors stay overnight during your stay, additional charges will apply. Please inform the host upon arrival or during your stay.

Deposit
The deposit will be refunded to your bank account within 7 days if no damage has been caused. In the event of damage, part or all of the deposit may be withheld, and additional payment may be required for any damages incurred.

Payment
When booking, you will receive the rental contract, confirmation, and route description.
The reservation is only final after the payment of 30% of the rental fee. The remaining amount, including the deposit, must be paid 8 weeks before arrival in Portugal.

Cancellation
In the event of cancellation by the tenant(s), the following cancellation fees will apply:
a. If canceled up to 6 weeks before the first day of the booked stay: 30% of the rental fee.
b. If canceled less than 6 weeks before the first day of the booked stay: the full invoice amount.

Arrival and Departure
You may check in to the accommodation after 4 p.m. and must check out before 10 a.m. on the day of departure. This is to allow for the cleaning of the accommodation.

Liability
Portugalvillas / landlord(s) do not accept any liability for accidents, incidents, or damages that may occur during your stay in Portugal, particularly inside or around the accommodation, caused by any circumstances whatsoever.

Others
We advise you to take out proper travel and cancellation insurance.
