About Casa Elias l Tastefully furnished with traditional charm near the coast

Between the gentle hills and the expansive sea lies Casa Elias, a holiday home just outside Silves, the former historic capital of the region. This property offers a peaceful rural setting while remaining close to the coast, making it an ideal place to relax, explore the surroundings, and experience the calm rhythm of Portuguese life.

The interior of Casa Elias combines traditional charm with modern comfort. The house accommodates four adults and one child. On the ground floor, there is a spacious living room, tastefully furnished with attention to detail and personal touches from the owner. The fully equipped kitchen invites you to prepare meals with local products.
The ground floor also features a comfortable double bedroom, where you can unwind in peace. From the living room, a staircase leads to the mezzanine, which provides additional sleeping space with a double bed and two single beds. Both the living room and the bedroom have direct access to the garden, where you can continually enjoy the view over the valley.

Casa Elias was carefully designed by the owner, Rita, as a tribute to her grandfather. The house reflects warmth, tradition, and the timeless charm of Portuguese life.


The surroundings of Casa Elias offer a combination of rural tranquility and cultural experiences. Silves is known for its historic charm and is within easy reach. The beaches of the Algarve are also easily accessible, allowing you to enjoy both nature and serenity as well as the coast and local attractions.

Silves in the Algarve is a captivating town full of history and character. Known for its impressive red sandstone castle and charming streets, Silves offers visitors a glimpse into the region’s Moorish past and a peaceful atmosphere away from the busy coast.

Rental conditions

Terms and Conditions  
The rental price includes the use of air conditioning, Wi-Fi, water, electricity and final cleaning (unless agreed otherwise).

Payment  
A 30% deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance, along with the security deposit, must be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival in Portugal.  
The reservation is only confirmed once the 30% rental deposit is received.

Security Deposit  
When making the second payment of 70%, you will be asked to pay a security deposit of €300. This deposit will be refunded to your bank account within 7 days, provided no damage has been caused.  
In case of damage, part or all of the deposit may be withheld. Additional payment for any damages incurred will also be required.

Cancellation  
If the rental agreement is canceled by the tenant(s), the following cancellation fees will apply:  
a. Cancellation up to 6 weeks before the first day of the booked stay: 30% of the rental amount  
b. Cancellation within 6 weeks before the first day of the booked stay: the full invoice amount.

Arrival and Departure  
You can check in to the accommodation after 4:00 PM. The accommodation must be vacated by 10:00 AM to allow for cleaning.

Liability  
Portugalvillas / the property owner(s) accept no liability for any accidents or similar incidents during your stay in Portugal, particularly in and around the accommodation, caused by any circumstances.  

Others
We advise you to take out proper travel and cancellation insurance.
