Lodge Lua l Unique stay in nature with a plunge pool and plenty of privacy

What a wonderful place to stay. It had everything you could wish for — including a lovely outdoor shower and plunge pool. It was such a pleasure to come “home” after a day of exploring. Everything was clean and fully equipped. The peace and quiet among the greenery, the privacy, and the beautiful view of Silves Castle were fantastic. I had an early flight, but I was still able to check in early thanks to the early cleaning. The hostess gave clear explanations and tips and responded quickly to questions. Highly recommended!

This was our second time booking through PortugalVillas. The first time was at Quinta Canine in Silves for three months, which was amazing, and this time we stayed at Lodge Lua, just 100 meters below it. Lodge Lua truly surprised us in the best possible way. It’s the perfect place to unwind after a busy day in Portimão, Lagos, or anywhere else. Sitting on the veranda with a glass of wine, a cheese platter, and a dip in the plunge pool… absolutely fantastic. Everything was perfectly arranged, and if there was ever a small issue, the local host was immediately available and had it sorted the very same day. Thank you, Tom, for picking us up and helping create such wonderful memories.

Wow, what a paradise! Truly a beautiful accommodation in a lovely part of Portugal. Every day we went out to explore the Algarve. Coming back here at the end of the day is amazing: the peace, the privacy, cooking outside, cooling off in the private pool, the outdoor shower, etc. Truly a TOP accommodation in a TOP location! We hope every visitor to Lodge Lua will enjoy it just as much as we did!

Beautiful and peaceful stay in Silves. Every detail has been considered in this luxury lodge. With a car, you can easily reach the most stunning beaches within about 20 minutes. Outdoor cooking, a refreshing pool, and lovely spots in the beautiful garden complete the experience perfectly.

What an amazing spot! A unique location with lots of privacy and peace. The very friendly host welcomed us and took all the time to show us around. The accommodation was truly spotless. Beautiful spot, just outside Silves, on a hill with views of the castle. Plenty of privacy and all the necessary amenities. We will be back!

We had the pleasure of staying in a beautiful lodge from Portugal Villas. It was a true paradise nestled among the Portuguese hills. We were warmly welcomed by the host and quickly felt at home in this unique location. The lodge was tastefully decorated, and there was nothing we lacked. A lovely large canopy bed, a kitchen with all the essentials, a nice bathroom with a toilet—but the real enjoyment was outside, as the lodge is really designed for outdoor living. In the morning, you could take a shower under the outdoor shower while the sun warmed your face and you could hear the crickets chirping. In the afternoon, relax on a lounge bed and cool off in the pool, and in the evening, cook in the outdoor kitchen—all in absolute peace and quiet. If you ever feel like skipping cooking or need some company, you're just a short distance from the center of Silves, where there are plenty of terraces and restaurants. A day trip by train to Lagos was also very worthwhile, and we really enjoyed a lovely beach day in Carvoeiro. The boat tour along the coastline was stunning! We ended up staying for 5 days, but we definitely could have stayed longer. We look forward to the next time! PortugalVillas, thank you for this fantastic vacation!
