About Quinta Vale da Vila l Luxury child-friendly villa

This rural villa is located about ten kilometers from the historic town of Silves. The holiday home has a large garden with all kinds of native trees and plants. On the south side of the villa is a covered veranda with sleek lounge furniture. The swimming pool (10 x 4) is surrounded by a wooden terrace. There are plenty of sunbeds and large umbrellas. There is also an outdoor kitchen with barbecue and separate dining table. In the garden we also find a basketball court, wooden swing and seesaw.

The villa has one floor and is very tastefully furnished. The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped, such as a five-burner stove with wok burner, an XL oven, deep fryer, microwave, dishwasher, Delta espresso machine and a large refrigerator. The long dining table in the kitchen offers enough space for a large group. The kitchen and the living room are separated by a fireplace. In the living room is a cozy sitting area furnished with satellite TV and stereo system.

Quinta Vale da vila has a total of five stylishly furnished bedrooms, all with their own en suite bathroom. All bedrooms have a ceiling fan and two of the bedrooms have a safe. You can wash and iron in the separate utility room. The villa is cleaned once a week. Then the linen and towels are also changed.

In the immediate vicinity Silves is worth a visit anyway. You will not only find all kinds of historical sights, but also countless shops, restaurants, bars and terraces. The beaches and attractive seaside resorts such as Ferragudo, Armaçao de Pera and Albufeira are only half an hour's drive away. The nearest golf course, the 18-hole Oceãnico Faldo Course is eight kilometers away.

When renting to more than ten people, a trendy guest house is included in the rent as standard. This 'sea container' is suitable for two adults and two children. The use of the container is also possible when renting out less than ten people, but we will ask for € 50 in advance for extra cleaning costs. We would like to know when booking whether you want to use this guest house, so that everything can be prepared for you and your guests.

Great stay!

Great stay! Such a lovely house with everything you could possibly need. Plenty of dishes in the kitchen, cozy spots everywhere, and the hammock was a favorite! We enjoyed cooking in the outdoor kitchen and relaxing by the pool. At the beginning of the week, it was quite warm inside the house. Unfortunately, the ceiling fans didn’t work in all the bedrooms. Perhaps air conditioning would be a nice addition in the future? But overall, we'd definitely love to come back!

It were 2 great weeks

It were 2 great weeks. The layout of the villa: so pleasant everything is on one floor. The nice swimming pool with the good outdoor shower, nice sunbeds and the beach towels for outside as a good service. With the tropical temperatures, the outdoor kitchen was a godsend, where we celebrated our dinner parties every evening. Hostess Marion professionally arranged when something was wrong. And another big compliment to you, Wim and I have experienced your personal approach as very pleasant. Thank you!

Great place

We spent a wonderful 2 weeks over Christmas at Quinta do Vale. The house is not only an architectural gem but also very comfortable. It is clearly designed to very high standards. The fully equipped kitchen, the open space living area and the great terraces make this luxury villa into a great place.

We lacked for nothing!

Hi Tom, Quinta Vale is a beautiful villa, in which we lacked for nothing! Lots of space, both inside and out. Great variety in places where you can relax, sit, lie down and eat. Complete: (almost) everything is there! Wonderful beds in cool bedrooms! A beautiful location, views to the coastline. After a number of different houses in and around Silves, this is our number 1! It was really great!

Algarve - Silves

Silves is centrally located in the Algarve, approximately 16 kilometers inland from the coast. This convenient location makes it an excellent base for exploring both the inland and coastal areas of the region. Silves was once the capital of the Moorish province of Algarve and was known as "Xelb" during that time.

Within Silves itself, there are plenty of supermarkets and local shops to meet all your needs. In addition to supermarkets, Silves also offers various restaurants and cafes where you can enjoy delicious Portuguese cuisine.

For fascinating Moorish history, you can visit the medieval castle within the center of Silves. Silves Castle is one of the best-preserved castles in the Algarve and has a rich history dating back to the 8th century.

For more architecture, you can visit the "Cathedral of Silves" (Sé Catedral de Silves) within further walking distance. The Archaeological Museum (Museu Municipal de Arqueologia) offers more history and remains of Silves.

In addition to exploring the rich culture, you can, of course, unwind in natural areas such as Serra de Monchique and Parque Natural da Ria Formosa. Serra de Monchique is a beautiful mountainous area located about 30 kilometers from Silves and offers excellent hiking and biking opportunities. Parque Natural da Ria Formosa is a natural reserve with lagoons, islands, and various bird species, located approximately 70 kilometers from Silves.

The international airport of Faro, situated approximately 60 kilometers away, is the nearest airport to Silves.

Rental conditions

Rental conditions
The rent includes the use of water, electricity and WiFi Internet. Washing bedding, etc., pool and garden maintenance. The use of the central heating is not included. And wood for the fireplace.

Booking
When booking you will receive the rental contract. The reservation is only final after payment of 30% of the rent.

Deposit
Payment deposit before arrival, with the 2nd deposit of 70% you are requested to pay the deposit of 500 euros. If no damage has been caused by you, this will be returned to your bank account within 7 days, or in the event of damage, part or all of it may be withheld, or additional payment of any damage incurred will be required.

Payment
When booking, a deposit of 30% of the total amount is required. The remaining amount must be paid, including the above-mentioned deposit 8 weeks before arrival in Portugal.

Cancellation
In the event of cancellation on your part, the following cancellation costs are due:
1. up to 6 weeks before the day of arrival: 50% of the total rent
2. from the 6th to the day of arrival: 100% of the total rent

Arrival and departure
You can move into the villa after 4 p.m. and must have left the villa before 10 a.m.; this is in connection with the cleaning of the villa. In case of a late evening arrival (after 9 pm), € 50 will be charged, this must be paid in cash to the hostess on the spot.

Liability
Portugalvillas / landlord(s) do not accept any liability for the consequences of any accidents, etc. during your stay in Portugal, in and around the Quinta, caused by whatever circumstances.

Others
We advise you to take out proper travel and cancellation insurance. On arrival, the hostess is present for reception.
