The Yellow House is a stylish and comfortable holiday home, located on the beautiful Quinta da Lila estate.
The Yellow House is part of Quinta da Lila, where each house can be rented separately or combined for a shared stay. Every guest enjoys complete privacy and a serene atmosphere. The house accommodates up to six guests and consists of three separate buildings: the main house and two detached suites, Suite 2 and Suite 3. This layout makes it ideal for couples, friends, or families with older children who wish to spend their holiday together while maintaining a sense of privacy.
The main house includes a spacious living room, kitchen, master bedroom, and bathroom. Each suite is self-contained and equipped with its own bathroom with shower and toilet, offering additional comfort and convenience. Inside, The Yellow House feels bright and airy thanks to its high ceilings and tasteful design. The living area features a large vintage “Strips” sofa, designed by the renowned Cini Boeri for Arflex, paired with an original Elle55 floor lamp by Tommaso Cimini. A wood-burning stove adds warmth and atmosphere, while underfloor heating powered by sustainable heat pumps ensures comfort in all buildings. The main bathroom is fitted with a custom-made solid oak bathtub, perfect for relaxation. Guests can also enjoy eco-friendly bath products from the local Algarve brand 8950 Cosmetica, made from natural ingredients.
Outdoors, The Yellow House offers several inviting terraces. At the front, there is a spacious seating area overlooking the vineyard, and next to the kitchen, a terrace with a dining table for eight, ideal for al fresco meals. Surrounding the house is an orchard with lemon, lime, and orange trees, as well as a herb garden that enhances the rural character of the property.
A special highlight of The Yellow House is its unique plunge pool, converted from an old irrigation tank. This pool area, complete with a deck, sun loungers, parasols, and an outdoor shower, is considered one of the most distinctive swimming spots in the Algarve. It is the perfect place to relax and take in the beautiful views over the estate.
Due to the layout with three separate buildings and to preserve the serene atmosphere, The Yellow House is not recommended for families with children under 12 years old. The house is available for stays of a minimum of four nights, with flexible arrival and departure days. During July, August, and the Christmas and New Year period, a minimum stay of seven nights applies, and bookings must either connect to an existing reservation or leave at least one week in between.
